Sixtiesstuff.com – Vintage Mid-Century Collectibles

July 19th, 2011

SixtiesStuff.com is the home of collectibles, toys, electronics and household items from the 1960’s, the late 1950’s, and the early 1970’s. We have vintage barware, furniture, hi-fi gear, decorative items, glassware, appliances, radios, telephones and more, and they’re all original.

Here you may find items of legendary design such as the Weltron 2001, the Panasonic Panapet, the JVC Videosphere and other classic mod and “space age” designs of the so-called “Eames era.”

You also may find such 1960’s icons as Franciscan Starburst dinnerware, Ericsson’s Ericofon telephone, or Topper’s Johnny Astro space toy.

We are not sticklers for the time period, however, and we are not like other sites that specialize in only design-oriented merchandise. We pretty much just carry stuff that we like. We hope you will like it, too.

And if you’re into great furniture by Herman Miller, or designs by Charles Eames, Eero Saarninen or other similar styles, you may find some here. Such designs, while certainly artifacts of their time, continue to inspire designers today. As such, they are highly sought out by collectors. And why not? Besides being decorative, many items from the mid century period are still perfectly useful everyday items.

In short, anything that evokes the classic mid-century period of the 1950s and 1960s may be found here. Our site has been online since late 2000.

While we no longer sell merchandise directly, you will see a lot of really cool stuff by other sellers on our site.
